"Copy Last Page" Macro

Hi there,

My office uses in-house "concurrence tables" to route MS Word documents between employees.  The procedure is to copy the last page of the document and paste it as a new last page with an extra table stamped across the bottom.  If the 2nd-to-last page (aka, the last page of the original document) doesn't have enough room at the bottom for the table, the entire concurrence page's text is scaled down until the table does fit.

Ideally, the solution should consider additional manipulations to the document that might alter the 2nd-to-last page.  In this case, the last page (concurrence page) should also change dynamically so that it always mirrors the 2nd-to-last page, but with the extra table still across the bottom.  However, if that's just ridiculous, I could probably make do with a "static" solution.

Is this maniulation better suited to macros, VB, or an existing built-in feature I don't know about?  And, any tips/tricks/suggestions for implementation?  I have programmed in Matlab and Java, but I have not done anything with VB or macros before and I'm not sure which tool would be best suited for the job, or what's even possible.

Thanks!

Bryan
